Soldier dies following rollover at Dona Ana Range Complex

A soldier died following an accident at the Dona Ana Range Complex Friday, according to a Fort Bliss official.

Officials said a tactical vehicle rolled, which was carrying two soldiers from Third Brigade, First Armored Division and another from Second Brigade, First Armored Division.

A soldier involved in the rollover sustained head injuries that later resulted in his death, according to a release.

The other two soldiers received non-life threatening injuries.

The incident is under investigation, but the cause of the rollover is unknown at this time, Fort Bliss Spokesman Major Joe Buccino said in a release.

The name of the soldier who died is being held until next of kin is notified.
