Juarez police arrest suspect in 6 homicides

Chihuahua State police arrested a man they believe is responsible for at least six homicides in Juarez.

Raul Rocha Ramirez, 23, aka “El Sapo” (the Toad) is a reputed enforcer for La Linea and helped run its drug operation in downtown Juarez. La Linea is the enforcement arm of the Juarez Cartel.

Rocha would also allegedly extort 3,000 pesos a week from downtown merchants for “protection.”

Before becoming an enforcer he reportedly sold burritos and then became an embalmer at a Juarez funeral home.
