Jimmy Kimmel Live in Austin Online Contest

You must be 21 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law.

GIVEAWAY DESCRIPTION:

The Jimmy Kimmel in Austin contest (“Contest”) begins on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 and ends 12:00 Midnight on Thursday, March 12, 2015. This contest will be conducted exclusively online. At the end of the contest, one randomly selected winner will receive a travel voucher to be redeemed through Sun Travel, 4420 North Mesa in El Paso, Texas. The voucher is for round-trip airfare for two (2) people from El Paso, Texas to Austin, Texas, and one night’s hotel accommodations in the Austin, Texas area. The winner will also receive two (2) tickets to see a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live in Austin, Texas on Friday, March 20, 2015 (the winner’s and guest’s names will be given to ABC prior to the trip to Austin with instructions given to the winner on how to claim their seats for the taping). Estimated prize value is $1000. The winner is responsible for any and all additional costs and/or applicable taxes associated with the receipt of the prize.

Winner will be randomly selected on and be notified by phone and/or email on Friday, March 13, 2015. If the winner cannot be reached after two (2) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If KVIA-TV and GECU cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.

HOW TO ENTER:

Contestants must submit their entries at these URL’s: www.kvia.com or www.gecu.com . Contestants may also enter on the KVIA-TV Facebook page.

Participants must enter their name, date of birth, address, telephone number, and email address, as requested, to register for a chance to win.

Automated entries of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated entries will lead to entries being voided.

Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:

KVIA-TV and GECU reserve the right to restrict the local winner to only persons whose primary residence is within a 60 mile radius of the affiliates’ offices.

Employees of KVIA-TV, GECU, its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.

Entrants further grant to KVIA-TV and GECU the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.

KVIA-TV and GECU reserve the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.

All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.

Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.

This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
