Socorro ISD to get early college campus

the director describes the socorro school district’s newest addition: an early- college high school. socorro high school was chosen as one of 44 campuses in the state to house a new early college high school. that means students can earn as many as 60 college credits … or even an associate’s degree, and not miss out on that high school experience! students could still play sports and take part in electives and extra-curricular activities all in the same campus. the first class was introduced this morning. we spoke with one of those hard-working students. I’m like, “oh my God,” i wante to bounce but i couldn’t. But I’m really excited and i wanted cry when i hugged my counelor. She was one of the reson, she pushed me to do my best. And when i touched Dr. Espinoza’s hand i though, This is the moment. This is it.
