Police seek public’s help in locating man accused in Easter stabbing in North-Central El Paso

El Paso Police have identified the person they say is responsible for a stabbing on April 5 in North-Central El Paso.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 24-year-old Sergio Escamilla, of El Paso.

Escamilla faces a charge of aggravated assault in the stabbing that occurred in the 4000 block of Lackland.

Police say Escamilla allegedly stabbed 23-year-old Alfredo Carmona in the abdomen during a fight.

Carmona was last reported to be in critical condition.
