First Alert Issued for Tuesday: Strong Gusts & Blowing Dust

The ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather Team has issued a First Alert for Tuesday.

A Pacific storm system will bring gusts between 55 to 60 mph on Tuesday with the strongest gusts hitting in the early morning hours. The strong winds will pick up dust and sand, limitingvisibilityaround the Borderland.

Gusts will diminish to 25 mph by Wednesday.

Slight chances for rain come into the forecast with this system starting at 10% on Tuesday and lingering until Tuesday afternoon.

The system will also bring colder air into the region Tuesday through Wednesday. Highs will drop to the upper 60′ on Tuesday and will continue to drop to the mid 60s by Wednesday.
