Chihuahuas unveil stars and stripes themed jerseys and caps
The El Paso Chihuahuas have unveiled the Stars and Stripes jerseys and caps they will be wearing during the July 2 and July 3 games.
Full season seat holders will be granted early entry into the July 1 st Chihuahuas game with the option to purchase the cap beginning at 5 p.m.
The cap will be made available to ticketed fans at 6 p.m. Sales will open tothe general public on Thursday, July 2 nd at 10 a.m. Limited quantities are available.
In addition to the cap, men’s and women’s Independence Day Nike shirts as well as other merchandise will also be available.
The OT Sports jerseys worn by the Chihuahuas will be auctioned on July 3 with proceeds benefiting The Salvation Army.
“Having The Salvation Army be selected to receive the funds from the jersey auction is a true blessing,” said officials of The Salvation Army. “Donations during the summer months drop drastically. Our mission of providing the homeless and the poor with shelter, food and clothing is a 365-days-a-year commitment so the funds from this project couldn’t come at a better time.”
In celebration of Independence Day, the Chihuahuas will have a Fireworks Spectacular on July 2 nd and July 3 rd . Gates open at 6 p.m. with first pitch at 7:05 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the pregame festivities.
Fans can buy tickets at EPChihuahuas.com or in person at the Durango or Santa Fe Box Offices. The box office is open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday 10- a.m.-4 p.m.
