2 wounded in shooting during flag football game in Roswell
Police in Roswell are searching for a gunman who opened fire during a children’s flag football game and wounded two people.
It happened on Saturday at Sites Field in west Roswell.
Roswell police spokesman says witnesses reported seeing a man in a black shirt running with a rifle and shooting at a couple in a vehicle.
The man and woman in the vehicle were wounded but their injuries are not life-threatening.
Police are looking for a black GMC or Chevrolet pickup that may be “lifted.”
Investigators have not yet determined a possible motive for the shooting.
