Pedestrian hit by car overnight
An elderly man is struck by a car in El Paso’s Lower Valley early Monday morning.
It happened at the intersection of Lomaland and Yermoland just after 1 a.m.
Police say the man was walking across the intersection with his walker when he was hit.
The man was alert when emergency medical crews arrived but was taken a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police did not say if the driver of the car will be facing any charges in the incident.
