Six YISD schools nationally ranked by Newsweek, U.S. News and World Report

Six Ysleta Independent School District high schools are named the best in the nation by Newsweek and U.S. News and World Report.

For a second year in a row, Valle Verde Early College High School (VVECHS) have been named among the best high schools in the nation by both magazines.

In addition, U.S. News and World Report named Bel Air, Del Valle, Eastwood, Hanks and Parkland on its list of the 2015 Best High Schools.

There were a total of 29,070 public high schools evaluated for the U.S. News and World Report’s “Best High Schools in America” rankings.

The rankings were as follows:

VVECHS: 100th

Del Valle: 1,724th

Hanks: 1,986th

Parkland: 2,093th

Bel Air: 2,211th

Eastwood: 2,367th

Ysleta ISD has more nationally ranked schools than any other district in EL Paso County.
