not yet falling around us! the chance of rain will begin to increase later today and through tonight. plus we’ll continue to see clouds into the afternoon and moisture lingering. we’ll track rain chances with the latest futuretrack model and raincasts, coming up! now to our round the clock coverage from south-central el paso. a person had to be rescued from a canal overnight. emergency dispatchers confirm one person ended up in the water around 2 this morning. no word on how the person ended up in the canal, but according to emergency radio transmissions… the person was there for 30 minutes. fire crews say the victim was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.. it’s a must-win game for the el paso chihuahuas tonight if they want to stay alive in the playoffs. the team is down two games against fresno. and they continue the best of five series here at home. good morning el paso’s denise olivas is live with a preview …denise?
