Man rescued from canal early Friday morning
A man was taken to the hospital after ending up in a canal in South-Central El Paso early Friday morning.
Emergency dispatchers say water rescue teams found the man near the intersection of Delta and Fonseca around 2 in the morning. According to emergency radio transmissions, the man was in the water for about 30 minutes
No word on how the man ended up in the canal. Emergency crews say the man is expected to recover.
