Two people shot in East El Paso apartment complex
Two people were shot early Wednesday morning in a shooting in east El Paso.
It happened just before 4 a.m. at 3541 Peerless Place at the Dos Santos apartments.
El Paso Police say one person was shot in the groin. According to emergency dispatch, that person was taken to Del Sol Medical Center in critical condition.
Police say the other victim was hit by shrapnel from that bullet, and is expected to be alright.
Police are searching for two suspects in connection with the shooting. Police say one suspect shot through the door. Police also suspect the shooting is gang related, and the suspects may be driving a grey or silver vehicle. ABC-7 is told police may know exactly who they are looking for.
