Firefighters battle house fire in Central El Paso

A house fire in central El Paso causes over $130,000 in damage.

Firefighters were called to the scene on the 4800 block of Yandell Dr. a little before 10 a.m. and were able to bring the fire under control at just before 11: a.m.

Officials says the fire started in the garage then spread to 90 percent of the property. The damage to the property is estimated at $132,000.

The tenants of the house are a mother and her two sons.

Investigators are still trying to determine what started the fire.
