Trespassing man found on elementary school campus with 30+ pictures of teenage girls

Canutillo Independent School District security discovered a 29-year-old man trespassing on an elementary school campus Thursday. The Anthony Police Department., whose officers serve as school security at Bill Childress Elementary in Vinton, said Andrew Santillano was found in possession of 31 pictures of young high school girls.

This is Santillano’s second arrest for criminal trespassing in just two months. His first arrest also happened at a Canutillo Middle School in September. At that time police said security resources officers were called out on a suspicious male on school grounds. Santillano was found and questioned. Police said his responses were inconsistent and he was taken into custody when they found 25 pictures of young high school girls on him.

Santillano told police he downloaded and printed them from his Facebook friend list. A trespass order was issued for all Canutillo ISD campuses.

Thursday officers found Santillano again, this time on the Childress Elementary campus. Again they said he had 31 pictures of teenage girls on him. Anthony police are now investigating this case with the help of the FBI.

They’d like to remind parents to be cognizant of the activity and privacy settings on their child’s social media accounts.
