Centennial falls to Artesia in state final

The Centennial Hawks lost to Artesia 42-34 in the New Mexico 5A Title game. With this win Artesia clinched its 29th state title.

Centennial loses its first game of the season on the heels on the death of Assistant Coach Roger Grays.

Centennial will move up to 6A next season, but still a fantastic job by the Hawks all season long.
