El Paso Catholic Diocese to receive 5,000 tickets for Papal Mass in Juarez

The Catholic Diocese of Juarez has allocated 5,000 tickets for the Papal Mass on February 17, 2016 to the Catholic Diocese of El Paso, according to diocese spokeswoman Liz O’Hara.

The diocese plans to distribute the tickets to all parishes and missions by dividing them in proportion to their average Sunday Mass attendance, O’Hara said.

The diocese will give the tickets to the pastors or administrators, who will then have to follow important guidelines when handing out the tickets.

According to O’Hara, all tickets will be free and the process should be as fair as possible.

O’Hara also said people receiving tickets will need to provide some assurance they will be the ones attending the mass, and that they will not sell them or redistribute the tickets.
