UPDATE: Pedestrian struck was not using crosswalk
El Paso Police say a pedestrian struck Saturday night was not using a crosswalk.
The crash happened shortly before 8:30 P.M on the 880 block of Alameda near Snelson.
Police say a 20-year old man was driving on Alameda when he struck a 44 year old male crossing the street.
Police say the pedestrian was not crossing at a controlled intersection. The pedestrian was transported to Del Sol Hospital with life threatening injuries.
