FIRST ALERT: NMDOT warning of dangerous driving conditions

The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is warning of difficult driving conditions on Monday.

NM 90 from Lordsburg to Silver City is snow packed and icy. That is from mile marker 0 to mile marker 42.

Crews are working to plow, salt and cinder the area.

NMDOT suggests reducing speed and using extreme caution in this area.
