Marcus Graham Named Socorro FB Coach and AD

graham is a big reason burges became a local football power at the 5a level… the mustangs won their first ever area championship under his watch… but now he’s on to his next challenge… today graham officially made the jump to 6a… he’s been named the head coach and athletic director at socorro… he’ll try and turnaround a program which hasn’t been in the playoffs since… “you know, going from 5-a t 6-a, there will be a step up in challenge as far as numbers, etc. now i’ve always viewed to socorro community and the team as a potential gold mine. you know, i looked at it as a sleeping giant i always called it. and i’m here. i got to be here to awaken it.” coach graham is a big hire for socorro… the bulldogs haven’t made the playoffs since 2002…
