El Pasoans run to raise awareness
More than 100 El Pasoans ran, jogged and walked to raise awareness for heat disease during the second annual Race for the Heart.
Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare hosted the 8K race and 1-mile fun walk at the Las Palmas LifeCare Center in west El Paso Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women, responsible for approximately one in three deaths in the U.S. each year.
