Van slams into wall overnight in downtown El Paso

One person was taken to the hospital early Monday morning after a van slammed into a wall in downtown El Paso.

The crash happened at around 1:15 a.m. near the intersection of Montana and Oregon. Emergency crews were called out to help get the driver out of the van, who had crashed into a rock wall. The driver was taken to Las Palmas Medical Center with minor injuries. Police have not said what caused the crash.
