it was two days ago when the chief said almost — seemed like he was pressured, but he says he was put in position he didn’t want to be in what it seemed like. he had to come up with a plan. it worked, everything was okay. >> we want to once again go back down to sun bowl to estela as i lose my voice. >> it’s okay, buddy. >> rick and bob i’m standing here with very very own ‘stella, congratulations, you did a wonderful job tonight, what were your thoughts. >> it was a team effort. lot of people who don’t get kudos and thanks, lot of people working behind the scenes including you and photographers going up and down those stairs. it’s an effort and thank to you everybody. i was working, but you know what there were moments when did i take it all in and got to experience that moment and was very grateful and very, very happy that pope francis said hello to the university of texas at el paso and the sun bowl. that’s what everybody was hoping for and they got it. what we said take it all in this virtual blessing and to take it home and not just enjoy it today but every day. >> like you were saying both actually addressed everybody here at the sun bowl. i was on the field, i was looking up at people in the stadium and there were very few dry eyes. several people were crying tears of happiness. how were you feeling in that moment? >> i had several moments where i felt just bunch of different emotions, yes, i did cry a few times. all day today when i was at home i cried a few times because of this — of the enormity of the magnitude of something like this and being a part of it. i think a lot of reporters and journalists look forward to working something this big and i think we all including yourself got the opportunity to do that. so it was a beautiful, beautiful day. beautiful, beautiful weather. and you could feel the emotion and the gratitude and mercy and hope in all of this. it was really amazing. >> i completely agree. wonderful experience for everybody in attendance today. thank you so much for joining us. >> you’re welcome. >> live from the sun bowl with he is stella i’m evan folan. >> we’re back at 10:00. >> any confusion, if she had new look i’m cert ink her
