Eastwood wrestling team welcomed back to Borderland

The Eastwood wrestling team had a fantastic performance at the state wrestling competitions in Houston, which is why they are Community Champions sponsored by Southwest University.

Trooper Isaiah Delgado won state at 106 pounds with a 5-0 score, while Ryan Chavez at 125 pounds won state with a 10-3 score.

Noah Vasquez may not have taken first, but he was a runner-up. Eastwood finished in third place in the overall standings.
