Andress Eagles lose in 1-5A Regional Finals
The Andress Eagles basketball team reached the Final Four in last year’s playoffs, but could it do they same this year?
The Eagles were looking to advance to the 1-5A Regional Finals Friday afternoon in Snyder, Texas, but in the end would fall short to the Wichita Falls Rider Raiders.
The Eagles had a tough time stopping Rider’s TJ Vascher in the first quarter, but Andress would respond.
The Eagles couldn’t get that comeback though and would fall short in the end, 72-61.
Wichita Falls plays Fort Worth Dunbar Saturday. Tip off is at 1 p.m. in Snyder.
