those are the words o antonio lopez. lopez was charged with capital murder in 2012 for the death of 11 month old jayda beckley- a foster child in his care. this afternoon the prosecution called crime scene investigators stand. right now jurors are watching a taped interview between detectives and lopez. open abc-seven’s jerry najera is live downtown with the story developing now … the jury had their eyes fixated on the video where detectives questioned lopez after jaylas death the video shows a very frightened and crying lopez being drilled by detectives. the detectives telling lopez jayla was in his custody– he was watching over her at the time and he was responsible for her death. in the 30 minute video detectives described the injuries jayla sustained from excessive force those injuries include a fractured skull–torn intestines and a ruptured liver. in that video detectives say the medical examiner stated that jayla died a very painful death. meanwhile lopez denied he had done anything wrong. the trail co tinues at 8am tomorrow. abc-seven and tex- dot with live traffic coverage
