STEM scholarship applications available
Eight $1,000 scholarships will be given to high school seniors at this year’s STEM+Art Fiesta on April 8th.
El Paso Electric is this year’s donor for scholarships.
Submissions are due March 31, 2016 via email to stem@borderplexjobs.com. The application can be viewed under ‘Related Content’.
The STEM+Art Fiesta will be a unique, multidimensional event for middle school students in a region, created to increase student awareness of opportunities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) + Art education and careers.
The STEM+Art Fiesta will be held on April 7, 2016 at Region 19 Head Start located at 11670 Chito Samaniego Dr., El Paso, Texas 79936. There will be two cohorts of 500 students each. The first cohort of 500 students will arrive in the morning from 7:30am to 8:30am and the second cohort of 500 students from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
