Thousands attend Sun City Fair over the weekend
be out at the sun city fair! it’s underway at ascarate lake. gates opened this morning, and people are still making their way out. our jerry najera has been out at the fair taking in all the sights and sounds. he’s live with a look. jerry… evan josie so many people came out that streets all around the area were pretty congested i saw a lot of frustrated drivers it was taking about 30 minutes to get in but once inside, that frustration melted away: throughout the day hundreds of fun seekers flocked to the sun city fair for some entertainment and thrills parents like liz velez tell me it was the perfect saturday getaway. “i think its great there’s food there’s fun” rober valenzuela says something like this was much needed in el paso “its a lot of fun the rides are fun the kids are enjoying it” but it was when the sun set that the fair seem to come alive people crowded to watch cowboys sling rope and condors danced for the curious. the rides had many hooked “th ferris wheel” “the zipper” how m rides have you been on? about five or six..whats your favorite the kamakazi. for others it was all about challenging their skills “they have really good games and here in el paso we don’t have that” so after all the hype the big question “would you come back? yeah would every single time if they could do it twice a year that would be amazing” ” hope el paso continues to build revenue and do this again next year this is probably the best thing i’ve enjoyed this year” this event will be going on until the 10th tickets for kids are 5 dollars and ten dollars for adults. jerry tahnk you. beautiful view… but it sure is chilly! we’re taking a live look at the city
