‘Click it for Chicken’ campaign making stops at local schools

The Texas Department of Transportation, University Medical Center and Chick-Fil-A are teaming up to make sure students at local area high schools are wearing their seatbelts.

The initiative is part of the “Click-it for Chicken” campaign. If they catch you wearing your seatbelt, then you will receive a coupon for a free chicken sandwich at any El Paso Chick-Fil-A. If you are caught not wearing a seatbelt you won’t get a coupon.

They will be at the following schools on these dates:

UTEP Friday, April 29 at 7 a.m.

Bowie High School Monday, May 2 at3:45 p.m.

Irvin High School Wednesday, May 11 at3:50 p.m.

Franklin High School Thursday, May 12 at3:45 p.m.

They want to make sure that students and their families are reminded of the importance of seat belts.
