Centennial softball and baseball now state champions

At the end of the day, Las Cruces is now home to two state champions.

Centennial defeated Goddard 5-4 to grab its first ever baseball state championship. It is the first Las Cruces baseball team to win it all since Mayfield back in 1981.

While Centennial softball also won it’s first state title knocking off Aztec 1-0.
