City wants your feedback for Eastside Regional Park Phase 1 Design

Taxpayers and residents are being invited to vote for their favorite design concept for the first phase of the Eastside Regional Park.

City Representative, Dr. Michiel Noe, and the city’s Capital Improvement Department organized Thursday’s interactive community meeting.

Community members will get to vote on two design concepts for Phase 1. Construction of this phase, expected to last eleven months, will cost taxpayers nearly $2.9 million.

Once the park is completed in Far East El Paso near the Montana and Rich Beem area, it will be twice as big as Album Park and three times the size of Marty Robbins Park.

The first phase of design for the 92-acre park will focus on the design of the buildings and associated infrastructure of the park which includes:

Natatorium with Indoor 50-meter competition-ready pool
Outdoor recreational pool area with lazy river, climbing wall and splash pad
Community Center
