Deputies identify man killed in deadly ATV crash

The man killed in a rollover crash Saturday night near the Tequila’s Event Center was Roberto Favela, 42, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies tell ABC-7 the crash happened around 8 p.m. on the 18000 block of South Fabens Carlsbad Road.

Favela left the racetrack in a modified off-road vehicle and crashed into an embankment before rolling.

Paramedics rushed Favela to a nearby hospital where he later died.
