Javelina spotted running through Las Cruces neighborhood
A javelina is spotted running wild through a Las Cruces neighborhood. Teighlor Anderson was leaving his apartment near New Mexico State University when saw an animal he quickly realized was not a dog.
Anderson jumped in his car and followed the javelina through an area near Monte Vista and Locust streets. He shared the video on social media and it quickly went viral.
In the video, you can see the animal even run though people’s front lawns. According to Anderson, animal control eventually picked up the javelina and returned it to the wild.
