El Pasoans are finding alternative ways to get around the construction in town

Driving around town is not what it used to be.

These days you run into contruction on every side of town.

A recent survey shows that many people use different means of transportation to get to work.

Driving, at seventy six percent is the number one way people get around–while riding the bus falls down at two percent.

Although the percentage for riding the bus seems low, Sun Metro officials say they’re seeing more riders instead of less.

Sun Metro officialshave noticed an increase in bus and brio riders because of all the construction around the city.

Other means of getting around town are walking or riding bikes, but most people in the city are hopping on buses.

Sun Metro knows that technology is huge these days.

Soon you’ll be able to use your phone to find a bus stop near you , and see what time it’s heading to your side of town.
