Kyle Bradish of NMSU named Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American

TUCSON, Ariz. – Kyle Bradish has been named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American team, Collegiate Baseball announced on Wednesday. He is the fifth freshman in school history to receive this honor and the first since Zac Fisher in 2010.

Bradish, a native of Goodyear, Ariz., finished his freshman campaign with an 8-2 record and a 4.67 ERA in 86.2 innings pitched. In his 15 starts, he led the team with 82 strikeouts, which was good for third best in the WAC. Against Northern Colorado on May 20, he struck out a career-high nine batters. His eight wins put him in a tie for second most wins in the conference. Against Bradish, opponents only hit .257.

The Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American team is selected by the staff of Collegiate Baseball.
