Police arrest landscaper accused of burglarizing home

Police arrested an employee with a construction and landscaping company and charged him with burglary of a habitation.

Fernando Garcia Vasquez, of the 12000 block of Quail Harvest in El Paso, allegedly stole a laptop Tuesday, June 7th.

This allegedly happened while Vasquez was working at a home on the 6700 block of Marble Canyon.

A person who lives at the home called police after a laptop computer went missing. Police later learned Vasquez entered the home and allegedly took the laptop.

Police say they will continue investigating Vasquez, who has reportedly worked at homes across El Paso. Police did not identify the company Vasquez worked for at the time of the alleged burglary.
