Reward increased for wanted sex offender with ties to El Paso
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) will award $8,000 to anyone who provides information during the month of June that could lead to the capture of Manuel Raul Maese, one of the 10 most wanted sex offenders in Texas.
Maese, 62, is wanted for indecent exposure and failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements. He has ties to El Paso and has an extensive criminal history in the area, including a conviction for indecency with a child and six convictions for indecent exposure.
The offender is described as 5 ft. 9 in. Tall and weighs about 210 pounds. DPS said Maese has worked as a commercial truck driver in the past. He has used the alias of Manuel Montalvo and may be known as “Manny.”
To be eligible for the cash rewards, tipsters can provide information to authorities by calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
