El Pasoan trampled during ‘Running of the Bulls’ in Spain
Oscar Morales, president of the 1993 Irvin High School graduating class and now software developer in Dallas, is recovering after he was trampled during the ‘running of the bulls’ in Pamplona, Spain.
Morales told ABC-7 he was rammed into a bull’s horns and fell amongst hundreds of runners. Amazingly, he did not suffer severe injuries.
“Every man for himself,” Morales said. “A lot of bulls are dangerous, but the other danger you have to consider is the danger around you. So what happened to me when I spotted the bull, I ran into a pile of people on the floor that I didn’t see before hand.”
ABC-7 has obtained footage of the incident. We will show you the video this evening on ABC-7 at 6. We’ll also hear from Morales, who will talk about his frightening experience.
