Group traveling to Poland

krakw, poland at the end of this month. the group is going to be part of a massive celebration. today father fabien marquez held a send off mass for the group. abc-seven’s jerry najera was there. he brings us the story. i’m here at corpus christie church where the mass wrapped up a little less than an hour ago. more than 100 youths, young adults and adults from the el paso diocese will be traveling to poland they are taking part in the world youth celebration. the group will be accompanied by bishop mark seitz for the 10 day event. over 2 million pilgrims are expected at the celebration pope francis will preside over the event and will hold a mass on the last day. “it shows young people who feel they are in a minority and they are really not a minority there a lot of people that who believe just as they do and it’s an amazing experience to see the universality of the faith.” the group will head out july 23th and come back the first week of august. this next story comes with a warning. it involves a slang term for undocumented immigrants. a custom license plate in las cruces recently caught the eye of abc-7’s stephen decatur. is
