LCPD: Man sexually assaulted girl, had nude children’s dolls inside apartment
Police arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl.
Toby A. Strebe, of the 2400 block of east Idaho Avenue, is charged with one second-degree felony count of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one first-degree felony count of kidnapping.
Police said Strebe exposed himself in front of the victim several times and asked the girl to touch him. Strebe knows the victim’s mother, police said.
The victim told her mother about Strebe May 28, 2016. He was arrested July 13 and later released on bond.
Police officials said detectives found nude children’s dolls at Strebe’s apartment. Detectives are trying to locate other children who may have been in contact with Strebe or who may have received a doll, potentially as a gift, from Strebe.
