Woman desperately searching for lost, sick dog

The owner of nearly 13-year-old Chihuahua named “Bucket,” is desperately searching for her missing dog.

Bucket went missing back on July 1st. The last place she was seen was at the intersection of Lee Trevino and Pebble Hills.

Crystal Kanzler, the dog’s owner, says Bucket was picked up by an older woman in a white Buick or Mercury.

She says the dog has a medical condition that would make people think she isn’t being treated properly. Bucket has what is known as Cushing’s disease. The symptoms include increased appetite, lack of energy, increased urination and hair loss. Symptoms that some could say mimic abuse.

She says Bucket takes medication for her disease and she has been showing improvements.

If you know where Bucket may be you are asked to contact Crystal at 915-433-4637, no questions asked. She is offering a reward.
