Back to School Coverage: Eight El Paso school zones receive upgrades

Eight El Paso schools now have upgrades to their school zones. The upgrades include school zone flashers, pedestrian ramps and signing and striping.

The 8 schools include Thomas Manor Elementary School, Jane Hambric, Benito Martinez elementary schools in the Socorro district and five EPISD elementary schools: Park, Moreno, Kohlberg, Vilas, and Dr. Nixon.

The city assisted with the funding for the upgrades, providing $1.5 Million.
