Low-cost spay/neuter services being offered in September

The Department of Animal Services is hosting low-cost spay/neuter services throughout the month of September. They are looking to prevent unwanted litters in the community.

The services will be offered at the Mission Valley facility at 9060 Socorro Road. The offer is only good for the first 30 animals that register each scheduled day.

The fee for cats is $25, and the fees for dogs are $50.

To sign up, pet owners can call 212-0299. Registration is required and no walk-up appointments will be taken the day of the event.

Appointments are also being taken for dates beyond the scheduled September dates. These future dates are open to cats and dogs of all breeds. Fees may vary by weight and species.

The services will be offered on the following dates: Sept. 6, 8, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28.
