Jennifer Han to fight Oct. 15 at Don Haskins Center

World boxing champion Jennifer Han will defend her IBF Featherweight title on Oct. 15 at the Don Haskins Center against mandated challenger Liliana Martinez.

More details about the fight will be announced at a news conference on Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Han was supposed to fight Martinez at Southwest University Park this past spring, but Martinez was unable to make the fight due to a visa issue.

Tickets for the fight go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 28, and will cost between $25 and $100. They are available at the UTEP ticket center and all Ticket Master outlets.

Han headlines a night of seven fights on Oct. 15. The undercard, which will start at 7:30 p.m., is expected to be announced in the coming days.

Han successfully defended her world title on April 29 at Southwest University park, defeating Calista Silgado by unanimous decision.
