Canutillo man allegedly stabbed woman at West El Paso gathering

Police said a man asked to leave a gathering at a West Side home got into an argument with the homeowners and stabbed a 20-year-old woman in the chest.

Reniery Adalberto Galeano, 22, of Canutillo, is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

The stabbing happened on the 200 block of Gus Rallis the early morning hours of Sunday, September 18, 2016.

Police said the U.S. Marshal’s Lone Star Fugitive Task Force located Galeano in Canutillo, where he was taken into custody Wednesday, September 28, 2016.

Galeano was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a bond of $500,000.
