Some of the newly-registered voters simply walked over to the polling station and stood in a long line to cast their ballot and take advantage of this first day of early voting.

Recent polls are show Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are two of the most unpopular candidates ever.

While some voters said they wished there were different options, others felt confident in their choice.

“The polls are showing that Trump’s down and I was going to stand in solidarity against Trump by voting for Clinton but since I feel confident that he won’t get in the White House, I felt confident voting third party,” Dylan Cox said.

“I’m a Vietnam veteran and I have to vote for the right candidate: Donald Trump,” said Howard Schalk.
