Investigators allegedly find explosives inside Horizon City home
The El Paso Police Gang Unit found military grade explosives while executing a search warrant in Horizon City Tuesday.
Sgt. Enrique Carrillo told ABC-7 the explosives were found in a home on Benton street off Eastlake. A person is in custody.
Agents with the ATF and FBI and experts with the U.S. Army helped police during the investigation.
Investigators are “rendering the components safe,” Carillo said.
