EPPD investigating serious crash Monday morning
The El Paso Police Department (EPPD) is investigating a serious crash involving a motorcycle.
According to a tweet by police, the crash happened just before midnight on the 13300 Gateway West.
The area was closed near Eastlake Boulevard as Special Traffic Investigators worked overnight to determine what happened. It reopened around 5:30 a.m.
Police identify the rider of the motorcycle as 28 year-old Adrian Minjares. He was taken to Del Sol Hospital with serious injuries.
Police believe Minjares struck a curb, causing the crash, and that alcohol may have been a factor. No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
