Police identify the man killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday night
The crash happened around 10 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Copia Street and Hueco Avenue.
El Paso police said 26-year old Alfonso Armendariz IV was speeding north on the 1200 block of Copia when he lost control of his motorcycle. Police said Armendariz was separated from his motorcycle and died at the scene. According to police Armendariz was not wearing a helmet, and no one was riding the motorcycle with him.
Special traffic investigators believe speed and alcohol may be factors in the crash.
