Man gets 25 years in prison for murder after “rough” intercourse with girlfriend
A man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder of his girlfriend after the couple had “rough” intercourse on Valentine’s Day two years ago.
The El Paso District Attorney’s Office confirmed Francisco “Chico” Fierro, 26, pleaded guilty last week.
ABC-7 obtained the complaint affidavit stating Fierro and his girlfriend were having “rough sex” and the woman later bled to death.
Fierro was charged in the death of Karyna Rodriguez on Feb. 14, 2015.
Investigators said the body of the 24-year-old woman was found inside an apartment in the 8500 block of Viscount.
The medical examiner said her blood alcohol content was four times the legal limit to drive.
Fierro allegedly told officers they slept together after sex. When he woke up, he said she was dead and bleeding from her vagina.
Police said camera phone evidence showed Fierro moved her body and lied about leaving the apartment before calling for help.
